IS FREE FITNESS GOOD VALUE?
Only a fool spends money on fitness right? After all, you’ll find a gazillion free videos on YouTube. Heck, I even have my own free-for-everyone YouTube channel.
I agree, spending money on fitness is stupid.
However, investing money into YOUR unique personal fitness and overall health needs, is anything but stupid.
HOW COME?
The X’s and O’s of how to lose weight and get fit are straight forward.
Making weight loss, fitness and health goals a sustainable reality is also ‘potentially’ straight forward… but only if you know how and when to serve up the right balance of X’s and O’s to suit YOU and your personal lifestyle.
You see, what makes you… ‘YOU’ is what makes something so straight forward so unobtainable for most of the world’s population who continually try and fail to achieve their health & fitness goals.
AGAIN, HOW COME?
‘YOU’ come with struggles, problems, likes, dislikes, time limitations, energy limitations, commitment limitations, self-doubts, fears, injuries, physical and mental scars… and a whole lot more.
It’s those very real, but very powerful factors that make your own health and fitness ‘needs’ a little more nuanced and unique, and for that reason the very awesome free social media fitness workouts and coaching tips that pops up in your feed on a daily basis are highly unlikely to be a personalised and realistic solution for your individual struggles.
It’s not that free fitness is bad – far from it, it’s just not always a custom fit for you, and that can lead to information and action overload.
That said, I’m proud to offer free and valuable fitness ‘short-form’ content through my social media channels and more detailed, free ‘long-form’ coaching through my website. I’m also vocal in saying that you should reach out if you have any questions regarding the content I produce and I’ll suggest how you can adapt it to best suit your situation.
Of course, if you know what you are doing and have good self-awareness, you may NEVER need to reach out to a coach, but for most people, hiring a professional brings support, clarity, accountability and superior, tailored results with less effort than the wonderful world of free fitness could ever offer.
